Goodbye Cruel World
I have always tried my best to smile in the face of loss and carry on, To do the best I could, with what I have, To care for my fellow man, and keep a heart free of of hate.
Where my failures lie, I will leave The Host to decide, as I return my soul from whence it came, and bid you all a more prosperous future than I.
In Truth,

So someone spoke cruelly or unfairly of you behind your back or taunted you to your face, eh?
Well, here is all the advice I can give you.
Ever watch "Kung-Fu"?
I was always impressed by the Strong and Quiet stance. I sometimes do that "what would so-and-so do in this position" thing, except I imagine a Buddhist Monk.
You see, fear is just the tool of evil it is portrayed to be in the movies, like Star Wars, or Dune, etc. It comes in all kinds of forms and can drive you to do all kinds of things. In regards to taking the Strong & Quiet stance, allot of people are afraid of looking weak, and as a result of that you get the social perpetuation of the macho chauvinistic stance for example. Basically if you take any social phenomenon and you will find the fear of some pier-group behind it. So I, at a young age seeing through the tyranny of pier-groups and the pressure to conform, with a mind free of fear, found this philosophy, and its all the advice I have to give you in these matters.
It is always better in the face of an attack to remain calm. I know the depths of cruelty that the majority of "un-enlightened" men can reach. Of course there is no excuse for a husband to ever assault his wife, but even in that, if you choose to live in a world of peace, then there is an acceptable way to deal with that, and vigilante retribution is not it. Now if you are perhaps the type that believes in Anarchy for whatever reason, then I am truly sorry, and this is not for you.
Otherwise, consider this example:
There is an appropriate response to all attacks that citizens of a world that desire peace and prosperity can embrace. And I can tell you as someone that grew up feeling a great deal of abuse in this fashion, if I had developed the philosophy of responding "in-kind," I would have developed into the kind of individual that you would not have liked at all, and would have been a plague upon the earth. So try to understand the dichotomy between the knowledge that such people are bad, and embracing the philosophy that contributed to them becoming that way.
We all know its hard to fully walk in another persons shoes, but I have a unique childhood history that gives me a unique insight into this type of situation. Don’t give a bully the satisfaction. Rise above it and reaffirm that you want a world that works for peace, and not hatred and the escalation of violence. You may sound mature in your response, but you if salted it with a generous helping of rage as it may be hard to resist, know that a Cherry Pie sprinkled with poison is still just as deadly.
What I’m saying is this:
Imagine two futures.
One where it all worked out, and the appropriate were sorry, and bonds of friendship were strengthened.
One where all ties are broken, and the memories of hatred and pain were burned into permanence.
Which would would you choose to live in, and what would you do to see it come to be? Know then that there are people in this world who have faced that very question, and sacrificed their very lives for the sake of the latter. Shurely we as the 1 in 3000 people on the planet that even have indoor plumbing, can find a way to overcome this kind of socially eliete hating (even when we’re the unjust victim), and if everyone or even most of us privileged cannot, at least take pride in not being one of them.

So what is my argument in effect?
So what is my argument in effect?
I'm a root of the problem type.
Others are a trim the tree type, because they swallowed the blue pill.
So what is the "Root" IMHO?
Aggression is a socially destructive force.
Competition is the basic form of aggression.
The greatest strength of our species is Cooperation, not Competition.
Civilization, Society, Culture, Community, are all cooperative ventures.
Cooperation and Competition are conflicting forces. (see: opposites)
As much as we like to doll it up and make it presentable, the raw truth of our Society is that we compete against one another for our very survival.
Exceptions to the rule are just that. Our true nature trying to find root in the in-hospitable earth of an aggressive society.
Many people accept this with some magically obvious deduction, that can never be proved.
"Its in our nature," cry the masses.
"Its not our fault," they say,
"plus we've already been forgiven, so there." =^P
Well here's the side of the fence you probably didn't know you stood on one side of:
Are we decent enough by nature to at least justify the search for a more Utopian system?
Or do we accept our fate like good lil' sinners, and go about our games?
This is not some issue that the best minds on earth have debated, and come up with the best answer for everyone.
There not even trying!
Why do you think that is?
To be fair, some great minds have investigated it,
and suffice to say they did not conclude the status quo was the best of all possible systems.
Still orbiting the party line?
Let me spell it out for ya all:
If you think the debate is about Blue or Red,
you are deceived.
(remember who "The Red" used to be BTW?)
The Luciferian Gambit is the reference to "Playing The Devils Game,"
where there is no way to win,
because Lucifer's gaping maw is behind BOTH DOORS!
You loose because you were deceived into thinking the answer HAD to be one of the choices given to you BY LUCIFER!
As if that wasn't obvious enough.
Groucho Marks made use of this concept in his act, by asking a question that made an unflattering implication which a direct answer could not address. Leaving the unwitting audience member to studder out what sounded at that point like a bad denial.
Classic. =^)
Well its being done to you right now. It is like the Matrix.
It is everything you touch, taste, and see.
For example:
Are you for freedom or socialism?
Are you for regulation, or lower prices?
Do you support the war, or are you supporting the terrorists?
Are you voting Red or Blue?
See, the political and ideological world is a battlefield too.
So what is the first rule of combat? (Sun Szu: The Art of War)
Choose a battlefield that gives your side the advantage.
Set the Topic, and define your opponents as well. (ie: Stack the Deck)
Starting to sound familiar?
Like the SOP of politics today?
The answer does not lie in the options being given to us!
Feudalism did not pass away because the landowners said,
"OK, your right, this isn't working, anybody got any new ideas?"
It took the Hundred Year's War!
Personally I think we can do without the war part, but it's looking like I may be too late.
So people chase their tail off trimming branches to get that just right look, but remember...
It's just a look,
and you know what they say about looks?
There is, another, way.

Someone had to ask....
I of course am drowning in the trite BS that passes for political discourse in the US today, and rise to the occasion.
-
Here's a guy with a real opinion!
Boot, you really think this guy is just trying to stir stuff up?
Sounds sincere to me.
Right or wrong is a different matter, but lets give the guy the benefit of the argument, eh?
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for ignoring the inciters, and neo-cons posing as liberals BS, I just don't see it here.
As to the issue here I think there is much to discuss but probably not what rollroll wants us to...
Ahhh where to begin...
Beware items sold with "Lifestyle!"
The game today in selling people stuff is to make them identify the product with their lifestyle, and bond with it.
I know you feel it deep rollroll, but if you look deep enough you will find a you without Hip-Hop, and discover that you are an individual that did not spawn-from, or are beholden-to "Hip-Hop."
As much as we all may come from a culture that wants us to identify with its traditions, and observations, it is now a force that has been co-opted by Corporate Enterprise as a tool for manipulation.
Whats wrong with that?
The normal instinct to avoid what is bad for us being subverted and extracted, is what. (ie: poisoned) Annother Post-Modernist "Simulacra and Simulation" example. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simulacra_and_Simulation)
I listen to my music so "I" can enjoy it, not to bond with it in some socially rewarding way.
Sure I like other people that like what I like, but I am one sorry Fxxker if I like them solely based on that, or even use it as my guide to such.
OK, so beware lifestyle branding.
Take your entertainment preferences too seriously, and one day you will wake up and realize you have been payed.
Hip-Hop a threat to the establishment?
Now I have to ask if YOUR kidding?
Seen a commercial recently?
All you need to see to clarify this issue is a documentary they did on PBS called:
HIP-HOP: Beyond Beats and Rhymes
http://www.pbs.org/independentlens/hiphop/film.htm
Read this on it too:
http://edstrong.blog-city.com/hiphop_and_american_machismo_culture.htm
He quotes about it:
"Just because his film is airing on PBS doesn't mean it's a finger-wagging put-down from overeducated critics outside rap culture."
And I hope you see that is true here as well.
Deduce for a moment if the Neo-Con agenda for the world, and "American Machismo Culture" have anything in common...
Hear anything on the social impact 24 has had on political opinion and you'll get the point instantly.
(BTW did you actually see Karl Rove rappin at that dinner... he was "playing the role")
Nuff Said.
That being said, there are 2 kinds of "Angry White Man."
One, while satisfied they consider black people equal with themselves, nevertheless are convinced most of them are criminals lost from the flock, and want to do Gods work in bringing them to justice.
The other type is the Bigot we all know.
Quiet in the back where only the "Good Boys" hear,
or loud-n-proud in their own gene pool.
What they both share is the "means to an end game plan," and there is no reasoning with either of them.
So if you see some sketchy stuff, remember.
A. Its not what you think it is.
B. It's not like it seems.
C. Being deceived means the truth is not what seemed most obvious to you.
Be Well
=^)
Whats that about the Matrix you say...?
